2 Greek Events

Greetings NPHC Memphis Presidents and Members,

On behalf of Dr. Telisa Franklin (President/CEO) and Memphis Juneteenth Festival (MJF) committee and I would like to invite your chapter to participate in our upcoming “Annual Greek Take Over” to be held on June 7th 2026, 6pm, at Medical District Park (formally Health Sciences Park), 799 Madison Av, Memphis, TN 38103.

If your chapters plan is to participate, please complete the registration form online at www.MemphisJuneteenth.com.  For planning purposes, we ask that you submit your registration form as soon as possible in an effort to alleviate delays during the show; however, we will accept last minute registrations the day of the event.

Prizes and Bragging Rights this year will be awarded in two (2) categories: “BEST ALUMNAE SORORITY YARD SHOW” and “BEST ALUMNI FRATERNITY YARD SHOW”.  The yard show will be epic again this year and our expectation is to have all NPHC Memphis alumni chapters represented with a team.

For a $50 FEE your chapter can adopt decorate a Tree in the “Greek Forest of Trees”, for a Cash Award for your designated HBCU, please do so. Trees will be reserved for you on a first-come- first-served basis by the MJF Greek Stroll-Off/Forest Coordinator.  You will be notified by 4 Jun of your tree’s location and you will be allowed to start decorating at 10 am on 5 Jun – 3 pm on Jun 5 – Judging on Jun 6 @ 5 pm..  All trees must be decorated with pride and no shade (inappropriate language, derogatory gestures) implications towards any other Divine 9 organization.

Juneteenth is upon us so please don’t wait until the last minute, REGISTER EARLY!!
